We found this little guy behind our Johnny's Plumbing & Hydronics warehouse in Cañon City. There are actually two of them, but the other was crouching low behind the brush and was not as curious.
We see deer on a daily basis next to our facility in Cañon City and often take pictures of them.
We thought you would enjoy this little fawn as it explores the area. We enjoy sharing our property with the wildlife.
The Vintage Car Club of Castle Rock Colorado had a car show at the Village At Castle Pines last Saturday Aug 22,2009 in Castle Rock Colorado. The show featured Classic Cars, Hot Rods and Muscle Cars.
This picture was taken in Custer County and the doe has two ears on the left side. 2/22/09 I have decided to call this pretty doe "Maggie". Thanks to everyone for making her #1.To view more of my photos on the Internet please visit :http://community.webshots.com/user/mountainmajesty
Taken through our kitchen window of a friendly little critter who is a regular visitor -- though he seems to prefer "dining in" when the weather is chilly!
When the clouds cleared Cheyenne Mountain didn't have the frosties like in this shot. We did however awaken to now above the clouds and not in it. Stepping out on our steep driveway would only be possible with crampons or one finds oneself picking up speed such that a Helmet would be strongly advised.
