Looking at Pikes Peak and the storm clouds on August 31, 2008.
When the clouds cleared Cheyenne Mountain didn't have the frosties like in this shot. We did however awaken to now above the clouds and not in it. Stepping out on our steep driveway would only be possible with crampons or one finds oneself picking up speed such that a Helmet would be strongly advised.
Taken while hiking Whale Rock Loop on Friday, Oct 9, about 10:00 am. The Will Rogers Shrine is just visible above the clouds on the lower slope of Cheyenne Mountain
Picture was taken on Friday 9.25.09 in Pueblo
